Cold start stumbles...

It sounds like the Idle Air Control Valve might be sticking in the cooler climate, but it's kind of a pain in the ass to check/replace. First, I'd rule out a few common things.

In this order:
Check the plug wires
Check the coilpack wiring harness
Check the Mass Air Flow Sensor wiring harness
Clean the Mass Air Flow Sensor
Check the Throttle Position Sensor wiring harness

If that's all cool, then you probably have a messed up idle air control valve. You can TRY to spray carb cleaner down the Idle air Intake (a little hole on the throttle body, beside the butterfly valve) but it rarely makes it better. I've seen it gum the IAC Valve up worse than it was before. Best to just take it out and see if it's gunked up, and replace it if it looks bad.
