I have a 99 cougar(zetec) and i was replacing the clutch flywheel and gearbox and was wondering if its the same as the clutch..etc on the focus.

The Cougar and the Focus do NOT have any
common part numbers between them for the
clutch, pressure plate or transmission assembly.
I'm not saying that they aren't interchangable,
but all the part numbers are different.

hehe, well i know the numbers are different. BUT, on fordpartsonline.com the flywheel for both are the same price... thats really the only lead i have so far. But i blew my clutch and i need to track down a ceramic clutch for my beast of satan. (tried looking at clutchmasters) but no luck they do have the focus clutch though, any advice?

also going to bolt up a svt focus gearbox to my car... assuming they have the same set up.
