So what's the one car or one of the cars on your dreamlist that you could have had, but didn't go for it or had the means to get it but couldn't?
For me it was a red 97 Cobra coupe that had a slew of high quality mods done to it. The owner was a guy in his mid-50's, was the original owner. The Cobra was actually his daily driver and was well taken care of and had high mileage, most of which was highway mileage, but he had just purchased a brand new Cobra and was going to sell the old one on the cheap ($7500). At the time I was in Augusta, Georgia for my military job training and I found it on AutoTrader. I had my dad go look at the car for me and he said everything checked out. I had the money to pay cash for it, but my dad talked me out of it because he didn't want me spending $7500 of the $10000 I had in the bank all on a car, especially one with that high of mileage. He agreed yeah I could get a new motor and that it would one day be a classic, but when it came down to it, I didn't have the means to put a crate OEM motor in it. So, a couple of months later I satisfied my SVT desire by purchasing my SVT Focus, which was newer, had lower mileage, was cheaper on gas and cheaper on insurance and not quite a speeding ticket magnet.
