I have a couple of chrome emblems that I would like to give a black chrome or hyper black look. What would be the best way of going about this. I thought of using Niteshades, but someone told me that wouldn't work. Any suggestions??

Since no one else has spoken up I'll speculate that the effect you want is black anodizied. Not sure who will do it, so may be a search will turn up some vendors.
Please note that this may sun-bleach over time: I have a black anodized Short antennna that's fading dramaticly.
