i would go with the new Mazda Mx-5 Miata. It can be had for cheap, is very fun to drive and its not as weeny as the earlier gen. models.

 

Either WRX or GLI...I love the GTi but I want the 4 doors...plus the GLI has a HUGE trunk....

 

A MazdaSpeed3, mostly because living in Cali. I can’t legally upgrade a Duratec to that level & now don’t even offer 2.3 with a ZX3 (love my hatch).

 

Well since BMW3, volvo V50 and TSX are all above 25k,
Mazdaspeed3, SI ... maybe the GTI

alternatively.. if I could be less than $200 over the $25k mark ; Mazda6 5door ($70 over) or Mazda6 Wagon ($170 over)

$25K would equal a new RSX Type-S for me.

But if I need to get a family car like my wife probably wants it will be the Mazdaspeed 3

I'd definitely be keeping my eye on the MS3.

I've spent my 25k though and I chose a Tacoma X-Runner.

 

I don't know; if I had to do it today, probably a Cooper S Convertible for the ultimate in fun and inmpracticality.

If I had to make a real-world decision, I'd look at the Matrix XRS, Corolla XRS, Mazda 6 wagon or the Accord V-6 coupe.

I'm so indecisive.

This is to hard since I haven't driven any of these....... yet...

Sad to say, but theres nothing. Yah I suppose GTi... But honestly, at that price point, nothing thrills me.

I'd rather go up a small amount and get an Acura TSX or a 325c.

 

WRX TR or GTI 2.0t for me!

 

GTI or MS3, depending on road test :evilgrin:

 

nothing that fits me (6'7") comfortably in that price range, except maybe a pickup which i would never buy new.

I swear I should scan my window sticker and post it here!:lol: The super high dollar package with DSG, leather, nav system, and dual climate control will list for around $27,000 +, but option 1 with pretty much everything was at $22,000.

Oh, I vote GTI.

or maybe a 2000 saab 9-3 viggen
or 2002 subaru wrx sti

if i was buying brand new which i dont do anymore id pick up a 2005 end of year special on a new mustang gt 300 horsepower and all that fun !

 

Four vehicles have my attention right now in that price range.

1) Nissan Frontier: Starts well under $25k, but optioned as I'd like probably edges up to $27kish... still in the ballpark.

2) Toyota FJ Cruiser: Base 4x4 6sp = $23.5k... I love these.

3) GTI

4) When available... MazdaSpeed 3 will be a contender for my attention.
