Custom Chip help?!?!?!
im currently in afghanistan.. but when i get home i plan on buying a JRSC... I dont want to use the little black box they have but get my own custom chip.. i plan on gettting bigger injectors a MAF and a whole new exaust headers back...i also already have intake and TB, and a diablo sport chip from focus sport.... anybody have any ideas? i aslo plan on getting a 2.3 or 2.6 in pully...

I'm not sure if you have a SVT or regular ZETEC. I'd suggest you look into the new "SuperChips Tuning" custom tuning solution. I believe it'll be $795 for chip and burner (or flasher for your ECU) and user-friendly software. You should be able to get the tune darn close fairly easily, then fine tune on the dyno. The chip verion is going to start shipping this week and the flasher version to follow. There have been some snafus with the SVT flasher I guess, so it'll take longer to be available. You wouldn't be able to flash your DiabloSport chip with it, plan on selling it off to someone.
You can read up on the SCT tuning stuff over at www.modulardepot.com. They have forums for pre-sale support as well as a Focus-specific tech forum.
Also, it sounds like there will be one or two other similar solutions coming out from DiabloSport either with or in addition to another company (Autologic maybe?). I don't know anything about these, what they'll let you do, or how their pricing will compare, though.
