I'm thinking of getting custom made dual exhaust that would end in two center mounted mufflers. Has anyone done this before or at least know anything about it. Basicaly I'm wondering how much it would cost, if it's practical, and how would it affect my HP? If anyone can give some advise I'd really appreciate it.

i would go single with a dual tip, i heard somethin about dual exhaust on a 4 cylinder engine it might be overkill ???

Duals would be NO benefit, look good, and thats it. You can also, just get a custom 4-2 header, and run true duals....but again...no power benefit...

Dual would prolly hurt more than anything

If you want the look, just weld on a second pipe that gets no Flow

You have to step down the tube sizes.

it's like this,
You can do a system with one muffler, with 2 outlets of a lesser size. or you can have one muffler and a Y pipe after it making the pipes go to a smaller size.

Dual outlets is never a good idea unless sized propperly, especially for a 4 cyl.

[sarcastic] you couls make a c\ustom header for each pair of opposing cylinders and have a sepperate downpipe and muffler and tailpipe for each....hahaha
