Anyone have any info or pics on how to cut out the fenders. I have the F2 Widebody kit and want to push the wheels out flush. Thanks
The flares he has goes over the stock fenders. He wants to take off the flares, cut down the stock fenders to make room so he can poke the wheels flush with the flares.St170wagon said:not sure what your wanting to do ..... push the wheels out to line up with the fenders or cut the flares back to line up with the tires?????

With the amount of cutting I did (1 1/2 to 2"), the inner panel and outer panel were still flush with each other, so all we did was use a piece of that anti-door-ding plastic that you can buy at Pep Boys to slip over the two pieces.
We haven't really had any leaks or water issues, but keep in mind it isn't a street-driven car... though it does race in the rain.
If somebody wanted to be really thorough, a little RTV first and THEN use the plastic trim would be a good idea.
