So I tryied to search and did not find any thing easily about this... although I do remember their being a thread about the New focussport head.

Out of the Ford racing, C-F-M, and Focus Sport, heads which one would be best for use?

I am sure I will get all diffrent opinions. The C-F-M has flow numbers saying that It will flow more then the Ford racing. The FocusSport says that they increaced flow but also realized that you wanted the air velocity to suffer. SO would the C-F-M head since it flows more have slower velocity with the air and only be ideal for FI set ups?

I am NA right now but I would like to go FI after I have built my motor...

Thanks for any help or for posting any links to other threads.

Can I add a sub-question?

Does anyone have anyone of these hooked up to a Powerworks S.C.? and was it a noticeable gain?

^^^^^Yes you can.

Are stage two cams a good cam to have with a head that I am expecting to go FI with...

Noticable? maybey. You'll drop $4k for 100+hp with the PWSC, then drop another $800-1000 for 10 15 hp tops with a head.

Is it more? sure. Is it really cost effective? Your call.

hell... for those little of gains... have the factory head reworked and hand port/polish it... atleast if it was my money... and if those numbers are correct..

i was always wanting a cosworth head.... but i havnt done much research yet...

You really can't go wrong with the FR head. A new ported casting with 1mm oversize stainless valves and high perf, high lift springs and retainers for $895.00.

The gains are there. Airforce's car is a prime example.

Can't go wrong!!!

a ported head naturally produces more horespower, as everyone knows more air = more power. so a p&p job with oversized valves would allow even more air to be crammed in.

BUT, you wont get 100% power out of it right out of the box, a trip to the tuners and a couple hundred dollars later can net you 20-30hp if you get the timing right.

personally, I wanted to sell me head, but so far no takers, its a fully p&p oversized SS valves and titanium springs/retainers. should be able to handle ANYTHING i throw at it

Do you have any Dynos with a NA motor....

I would like to see a dyno with a before and after head with close to a same modifications that I curently have on. (see sig)

Not to be critical but with a built bottom end and a turbo putting 22.5psi and a 3 inch exhaust is not even close to what I am looking at for refrence. I you should to a comparison between the diffrent heads and that set up... although if the head that shows better gains over your it would not be very profitable for you.

Nice to know that with $25,000 I can build a Zetec that Will put most mustangs to shame....

Sorry, we don't have any NA dyno charts with mods similar to yours. Our head with all the NA bolt-ons is good for 165 - 170 WHP, though. :)

To go out and buy our competitor's heads and then do full dyno comparisons on each would costs thousands in labor and parts. No thanks. ;)

And I posted that chart because you said this:

The FR head has been proven to work both ways out of the box. Brand New parts with upgraded springs and larger valves. Doesn't break the bank.

currently im at 160whp with a focus-power built engine(comp III, 10.5:1 pistons, SVT Header/ORP/2.25 exhaust, 1mm valves, volant intake, pro-m maf, 65mm t/b) Keep in mind, im down in compression in cylinder 3 and 4. going to get that fixed later next year along with a procharger.
