As many of you know my wife and i just had a daughter, mila.
As many of you know i am also very much "into" reptiles, especially snakes, and of those, especially constrictors.
therefore i was going to get a tattoo to commemorate and be a symbol of protection, if you will, on my right arm. This will have to be above the t-shirt line for work purposes but will continue slightly onto the shoulder.
I am thinking of something along the lines of a burmese python (gorgeous animals) with potentially clutching one egg, representing my daughter.
The image will be black and white, (shading, etc, but no color for now) and maybe 6-8" high by whatever wide, i just need to be able to almost all the way cover it with a t-shirt.
Reference pictures:
Here is how they clutch, also a good look at scale design and body coloration:
head study and scale detail
and finally what i was thinking for body layout:
something like this, where the tail would be sort of clutching one single egg (with the possibility to add more if we have more kids, and the neck would be slightly more kinked, like to strike if anyone hurts the family.
all ideas and comments welcome, obviously, this is in the planning stage.
