<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">WTF??? When will Ford wake up??? We don't want a different Focus from europe we want the SAME MOTHER F***ING one that the sell in europe!(sorry) I am sure that they would even have a small market to purchase RHD models. Ford North America neeeds to get their heads out of their ass's and quit fixing something that does not need to be fixed. The Focus is fine as it is in european dress as well as the new Mondeo. Don't call it something elso, call it what it is. Quit wasting time and money on trying to figure out what we want and start looking at sites that TELL YOU WHAT WE WANT! I wish I got paid 6-7 figures a year to try and sell people what they do not wantOriginally posted by Rob G:
my deciphering:
2004 Ford SVT Focus
SVT is said to be preparing a hotter Focus for the '04 model year. In place of the current car's 170-hp Ford-built I-4 is a turbocharged Mazda four-banger capable of 225hp. That's enough to take on the 215-hp turbo Dodge SRT-4 as well as the Subaru WRX. The Mazda power hints at the upcoming all-new '05 Focus which will have substantially different sheetmetal from its European sibling. The Focus gets 2.0L Mazda power to replace the 2.0L split port induction Focus engine. A 2.3L Mazda four replaces the 2.0L Zetec. Both will find their way into the next-generation Protege and the new Focus-based Volvo S40.
