Take the time to remove the lower bracket (4 bolts I think) and push the sleeve where the engine mount bolts to just a little so the mount fits nice and easy. Keep that bolt in, but do not snug it yet. Mount the rear portion of the mount onto the car loosely and then place the bracket onto the engine. I have done a few of these and trust me, it sounds like it takes a little longer, but it does not. It's actually easier. No need for lube either.
