You'd think they would at least put some time/effort/money into the interior as well as all the time/effort/money that was put into the exterior. Looks like the interior has some off-brand racing seats, a stereo system, and a steering wheel cover.

Sad, just sad.

thing is that 14 grand is less than a 10th of the actual price and that's how some people rationalize it out. sounds pretty sweet when you say it like that

what's sad is that they didn't finish it and left some of the lepard print off the back. but i still think that it's cool that they did it and makde it look similar to the lambo. it's just that left alot out. like the glass over the rear engine compartment http://www.allcarwallpapers.com/wallpapers/previews/lamborghini-gallardo-se-826.jpg

and the front end is all stupid like. but honestly, you cant say this is dumb for the price that they pay compared to what we do. they are making thier car look like a sports car for 14 grand. we are spending 14 grand to look euro, or have a turbo or whatever. for 14 grand you can put a badass downpayment on a much better car.

just some food for thought for the haters.

no, i don't like the look of it myself. yuckers

Sad thing: I would almost buy it just for the body...I will never own a real one either way. I wonder if that would be easy to build and build your own chassis to it and under large amounts of money.

ROFL!! It looks like its WRAPPED and not painted!

That's just horrible. But on the other hand... you pick up the car for $1200. Buy $1000 of metal and do the job yourself. Sell for $14000..... you make a ton of money.

that's a concept gallardo, not the production car..

the best part of doing a gallardo conversion is that the gallardo's doors open like a regular car's so you don't have to spend the extra money on scissor door kit.

The car is wrapped. Look in the engine bay, you can see where they left the extra material hang. So if anyone buys this, they will either have to get more of the same material or peel it all off, and then paint the car. $5000 would be about right for this maybe.

Ya now if they based it on a Fiero or something with a credible engine/drivetrain that'd be fun for a kit car, I could MAYBE understand it. But a base model 4-cyl Stratus with god-knows-how-many-miles on it, come on now :what::screwy:

I like how they quote it as 90% complete:dunno:. Even if the body was competely finished which it is not (actual paint, and accessories) the car still needs suspension, brakes , a complete new engine/tranny, and maybe a half way respectible interior w/out a walmart steering wheel cover. Suddenly it's costing a bit more to finish that 10% on the car.

I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned that it is styled after a Murcielago, not a Gallardo. ;)
the front is somewhat modelled after a murc--innacurately at that, but contains the basic contours of the gallardo.

The back is pretty much all gallardo.. especially considering the gallardo has the wrap-over tail lights, while the murc doesn't

I bet those idiots have 200 hrs into that thing. LOL

It does have 19" Hartge wheels on it. I bet one of those wheels is worth more than the whole car.

Man, some people just dont know where to put there talent. Minus all the bondo, its pretty amazing they did that out in the dirt like that. Its really not a bad looking job...

looks pretty close to a lambo. reminds me of that fake mini dvd. where they duct taped 2 motorcycles together and called it a mini.
