The story is kind of cute, and strikes a chord among Dodge's target market for this, but I can't believe Dodge would produce a "commercial" like this. Shakes head at Dodge for promoting irresponsible and unsafe driving like that

Hrmmm... Their marketing manager just commited carreer suicide.

Also note the note on the bottom when the Scobby taunts him, "professional drivers used on a closed course"

I liked it. It wasn't that bad. A little bit of racing, bad acting, a couple of nice car shots.
I don't think that was WRX. Looked like Lancer to me. Either way, it would be a close race between a WRX and SRT-4.
edit:
watched it again, it's a WRX. What was I thinking?

Awesome video! If you street racing gustapo guys think it was a serious ad, you need to get your head examined. The songs in the background were uneditted, there was a ton of sexual reference, and yeah the acting was horrible. Most likely this was a leaked internal dodge movie. Possibly a complete hoax too. And that was definitely a WRX. And the SRT-4 will stomp a WRX given enough time to compensate for the WRX's luanch, I have the videos to prove it.

At least some of the people were wearing their seatbelt some of the time.

The caption at the end reads test drive today. I wonder if I could do a couple of clutch drops and some reverse 180's?

HOLY ****!!!!!! That vid was bad ass! That SRT4 put the smack down....The cool thing is that the race is almost just like it would really happen...the WRX got the jump, but here came the SRT-4

dammit I hate Dodge! You know I hope that makes it to T.V. cause that'll just slap every WRX owner in the face! WOOT!

Mad props to Dodge. The car is badass and I assume the video is too.

Glad to know the Safety Police are always vigilant and on the job. Call and write your official elected government representative and tell them to ban the SRT-4 and all it stands for!

How is this any worse than the "Run" short for the 350Z or any of the BMWfilms shorts? All show blatantly illegal things with cars.

I thought it was clever, bad acting but who cares.

That was most definitely a WRX though.
