Just curious... I've got this crazy idea of using a fuel injector, and the extra rpmxload=pulsewidth output of the Pectel to drive a 3D water injection system. I would just need a pump and plumbing.

Are people seeing decreased EGT? Any downsides?

I talked to a fuel rail engineer here, and she thinks a fuel injector should flow water just fine. They are all teflon and stainless inside.

I don’t inject continuously but I haven’t ever noticed any decrease in the EGT

If you're planning on continuous injection.... you're gonna need a pretty big tank I'm figuring. (at least 5 gals)

I don't see a point in injection every moment the engine is running. If the point is to lower the a given temperature reading, it would only make sense to me that you should ONLY spray when your readings go above a certain level. Arbitrary spraying seems like a waste.
