Congrats, and nice color choice...we wont start the fastest color argument...
. But, try not to listen to all the negative stuff that people whine about on here sometimes. If you pay attention to your car, and get all the problems out of the way early, chances are you wont have any major problems...like me...so take it easy on that clutch for a little while, and take care of her, and you should be trouble free. You are intitiled to free rentals since you own a SVT, so taking it in isnt a huge deal...besides having to be with out your ride. Good luck with her, and have fun!

That is great and congrats Fire!!!!

Enjoy your new SVTF and as you have read there is a ton of compliments from the satisfied owners like myself.

What kind of deal did they cut you? They must have been practically begging for someone to take it.

700 km is quite a few test drives.

Nice buy!

Most of the KM's came from use at the dealership they had taken the car to a couple of course's in Moncton. They still have a Red one left on the lot as well.

A got a good deal on the car but I had some roll over from my ZX5 which I was only in for a year and 6 months. So that hurt a little. Oh what we do for our toys ...

Yup. Don't get discouraged by all the problem threads. Obviously people upset with their problems make a LOT more noise than the majority of us that aren't having any serious issues.

Enjoy!!! And nice choice on the color!

of course not, since well all know silver is by far the fastest.
The only SVT dealer in Ottawa, Ontario still has 3 '02 SVTF's on their lot. Brand new, never sold/titled. All three loaded with all options, I believe, 2 black, 1 red.

I'm personally shocked they still have them - the cars are almost 1 1/2 years old, and still "new"!

He should listen. The car has some definite problems.

get all the problems out of the way early

Some of the problems take longer. I think everyone will eventually get a broken DSI.

take it easy on that clutch for a little while
The clutch sucks -- see all the threads on blown clutches

Stop being so naive. YOU may have been lucky enough to not have problems (so far), but your time will come.
Man there are alot of people with an SVTF that complain.

Why not just get rid of the car if you are having so much trouble with it. Just think what it would do for your strees level if you got rid of it.

Its a car man .. Every other make I'm sure has it flaws and concerns. Go to one of there boards and I'm sure its all the same.

BAHHH!

Many times, it is.
There may be some that complain, but I believe with good reason.
New cars should not crap out every other week and be in the shop constantly.

Until the new ECU update, I was thinking of ways to get my dealer to buy the car back, but I really hadn't had that many serious problems with it. Just some minor irrations.

But, for those who DO have total lemons, they can't sell. Lose too much money.

I could sell mine today and lose $8,000 Canadian in 6 months of ownership.

That just woudn't be smart.
With the resale value of Fords in general, I'm riding this bitch all the way down. Then, when I can afford a new car, I'll gut the SVT and make it a track beast.
If I get my new job, I'm going to firebomb the POS.

You are full of [censored]. My time will come my ass. You are ignorant. Why dont you stop and think for a mintue? Try comparing the number of people with clutch problems in their SVT Focus with the number of SVT Foci sold. I bet the ratio would be surprising to you...if you know what a ratio is. Surprise, Surprise...not every SVT F owner posts on the Jet! You need to get a clue...Why do you people have to come down on everything...it is getting old...take your whining to SVT, cause nobody wants to hear how horrible your car is. Im not wasting my time any more with this kind of crap...
