Hi Guys, Im pretty new to this and am fairly
unfamiliar with cars(This is why I have been reading
all these posts) Can someone posta picture of
the DSI cable showing where it is and what it looks like.
If I understand this cable controls which air intake the engine uses.

The DSI control changes the "runner" positions inside of the DSI.

To create low-end torque, the DSI control keeps the runners in a "long runner position" to suck air into the manifold. This is where the runner sits most of the time, unless you like to rev the engine a lot

Basically, the air is being directed thru the long runners into the intake port creating low-end torque.

Once you reach 6000rpm, the DSI cable motor pulls forward and opens to the "short runner position" where the air flows directly into the intake port creating more HP up until redline. This is one of the reasons the SVT can produce a pretty linear HP/Torque curve.
