I think the end user will have to purchase a handheld unit to flash and go back to stock at will. Things could change, though, we'll see how it goes.

 

Will this be as simple as a core charge or something? Or will we have to visit a shop with the tools to get flashed?

 

We will have access to the hardware needed in around 2 months. One SVT has already been flashed successfully, so the software is good, just need the other stuff.

 

Best option we have heard of lately is Tom re-working the ZETEC ECU to work on the Duratec for his prototype turbo that nobody seems to want to try. Or maybe it was Marcy, or both, who knows, but the ZETEC thing sounds more promissing than trying to crack this Black Oak crap.
