My ZX3 had an awful hard starting habit before I added additional engine and battery grounds. After that, no issues, fires right up.
My ZTW and ZTS have the SAME exact starting symptoms the hatch did, added the same grounds(same wire and materials as well), not a change. Not even a little.
Everyone has experienced the hard start Duratec symptoms before, some people have theirs come and go with cold weather and such, these two cars don't care, 100 degrees? 5 seconds to crank. 0 degrees? 5 seconds to crank.
After they fire, sometimes they will die off immediately. As soon as you touch the key again, fires instantly. Without hesitation.
I will add, it has these issues with letting the keys sit on 'run' before you start it for 5 seconds as well. It does help, takes even longer to crank over and is more of a struggle if you don't prime the system.
Well, anyone have a checklist I can run through or have any other ideas? I'd like to get this solved definitively.
