ethanol, like methanol used in cart, is highly corrosive. you couldnt leave it sit in the gas tank for long unless gas tanks, fuel systems, and engines were changed in their manufacture. even cart hasnt figure that out yet. they pump out all the methanol from their cars after the race and even put some gasoline and run it again to finish off all the methanol.

i dont think so, educate yourself more. http://www.e85fuel.com/faqs/repairs.htm
Will I hurt a gasoline-only vehicle if I use E85?

Yes. Longer-term use of E85 in gasoline-only vehicles may cause damage because of the incompatibility of the alcohol fuel with the parts in gasoline-only engines. Performance and emissions will also be compromised.

FFV carry the same manufacturer's warranty as any other vehicle. if we can finance our current roll as world oil policeman, we could certainly finance the minor changes necessary to upgrade any parts needed to eliminate the possibility of corrosion. there are already 50 some E85 stations in Minnesota alone and others in 20 states.
