my EGR is deleted and i passed inspection. you would prob need to get a tune to turn off the MIL. i know in NY if you have no MIL you pass. idk how extensive the visual inspection is but i dont think they will even know it was there.

what are the odds you can pug the EGR block on, it'd block the EGR from passing gasses into intake.

 

i made my egr block it was easy and cost me less then 5 bucks

 

what did you use? How did you make it? I've thought about doing it on my truck, but not sure what material to use.

 

umm i think you can weld a penny to where the tube attaches to the header. or go to a metal shop and pick up some scrap steel and use that.

don't forget to plug the hoses and stuff too

 

for the tube off the intake mani, i used an old spark plug and a zip tie...works fine, has held for over a year...ive hurd pennies work too. my turbo mani has no hole for an egr.

get a EGR block off plate for a 4.6L GT mustang, It the same size. there like 8 bucks off of ebay.

But doing this without a tune will try off ur idle.

Exhaust Gas Recirculation. I'm not sure what benefits you would get. You could get a tune to disable the EGR system and leave everything hooked up.

 

I did the golf tee thing that is posted on focus hacks this weekend and it worked like a charm. and it will stay that way until i can remove all the egr associated hardware and get some SCT goodness
