I have a Mazda 3 bay cover coming this week. Going to spend some time sanding it down, painting and re-badging it, and that'll complete the look I'm going for. I'd like to paint the valve cover but it's probably not going to happen any time soon, if at all, so I'm sticking with the engine bay cover.

WOW......That's all I gotta say man. I'm very impressed...and if you just took the time to get that valve cover painted to match like you said you want to, I think you'd really feel like it was worth your time! That would really set it off! Looks killer reguardless!! :thumbup::thumbup:

It'll look better once the engine bay cover is in. That valve cover is dirty as hell and I could only clean so much of it without removing the thing, which I'm trying to avoid :-\

Wow Ben! I love all the lil bits of custom paintwork in there...it goes good with that sexy Cossie intake I gotta clean up mine too. I wanna see an updated pic once you get that Mazda cover on there! Lemme know how it fits too.

 

 

I really think the base Zetec valve cover looks much better than the lumpy SVT one...

Thanks! I actually painted the valve cover overlay black now and love it. I was tired of having to polish that chrome every time I popped the hood (lol, OCD?)

 

Pretty boring.
