i know of the spark plug wire covers, but what else could you use to dress up the engine bay? i'm looking for some stuff to spruce up the nasty look of the engine, and don't have an injen intake, so i can't get that phatty ass polished thingy for where the stock airbox was, so i wanted to know what else was available for the engine. thanks guys.

You could go over to www.hosetechniques.com and check out their hose kit for the Focus. Looks nice IMO, I'll probably be getting it in the near future. They have blue to match my Iceman!!

BTW, what's with the ridiculous prices for spark plug wire covers?? $40 to $50 for a thin strip of metal????

If you want cheap, you can go to a parts store, and get some colored split loom. Also, I don't know if you have plug wires, but at 59.99, the Focus Sport wires are nice. I am also getting the Focus Tuning strut brace, and a header that will help too. Of course I am waiting for the ultimate dress up peice...A phat a$$ turbo.

Picked up some silicone hoses from Newedgeperformance.com for $35, also got a blue aluminum oil cap for $15. Can't go wrong with those prices.

Ford Racing has 9mm silicone wires for $40 retail also,

So, you could possibly get all three for under $100

Injen's logos are just stickers that come right off. Injen makes a polished fuse box lid also, I was quoted $80.00 from a local suplier.
Thermalflex is working on a complete silicone hose kit that will look alot better and be more complete then the Hosetechniques kit.IMO. Thermalflex is working with Ford and Focus Sport to make their kit.
I can't beleive no one has made a valve cover yet. I think that will really help dress up the engine.

i was gonna get the plug wires but since everything that's blue is normal blue and wouldn't match my car i'd have to get yellow, then i'd have to get all yellow stuff, and i don't know if i want to do all that, i think aftermarket headers add a ton to the look of the bay, more than any shined up covers IMO. and ofcourse a turbo would look okay too
