Whilst coming back from Johnson City today, at Wallace Mitsubishi, I happened on this. From what I understand, the youth being held by the Bristol TN police was revving the car in the showroom with his foot on the clutch, and he dumped it at or near redline.

I joked with one of the salesmen "You mind if I test drive the red one? It's not pointed towards a pole." I didn't get a friendly smile.

Have you guys seen the new mitsubishi commercial?? OMG its almost exactly like what happened here. Theres a guy sitting in an eclipse and one in a regular lancer in the dealer showroom and they keep shouting at eachother "wooo!" "wooooooh!" like theyre in 2F2F and dragracing eachother..

yeah it's not centered like the older EVO's, it's off to the bottom left on the VIII (at least on the North American version). it's there, look closely

I wish that pole was not in the way in the pic, I think it may have improved the atrocious looks of that grotesque vehicle, but I can't tell for sure. Although if he shot out into the road and was run down by an 18 wheeler, it would have been even better.
