yup those and its just held by pop cans and theres a hanger i planned on moving it back....

 

if done right it could look pretty good. when we gonna plan a Iowa meet again?

With the bumper exhaust contour still showing to the left it will look funny. If you have a center exhaust bumper it would look sweet...

Can you tuck it up anymore at all?

Either cut some hole in your bumper and pull it up, putting a custom surround around it, or pick up another bumper, a la that centre exit SVT one pictured above?

I think one thing that it looks like is that it's hanging out in the middle of nowhere, as it were, and I think it would look better if there was a closer fit, or exit through the bumper.

It's not terrible, imo. There's some potential there. Maybe some smaller tips, too?

The thing I'd want to avoid is to look to Need for Speed-ish...

Your car, however, your call. Good for you for doing what you want. Heck, you'll never really know until you throw it up there.

you need a different bumper that accommodates a center exit exhaust, as suggested above. you may like this idea, but you're definitely not going to impress anybody with it. even with a center exit cut out, that thing is huge. not a fan.

 

i dont mind it! not my favorite, but you need a center exit exhaust bumper to pull it off i think!

It actually doesn't sound to bad in person. I thought it would be annoying loud but it sounded better than all the civics there with the pumpkin shooters.

I'm sorry, I just don't like it. Now you have a cutout in your bumper where the exhaust used to go too. I would like it if you did the rear SVT bumper with the center exit. That valance is on sale too on BAT.

 

i can fill that no problem, the reason theres no cut out is cuz its 2 fart cans long and hits the bumper rail.... so it cant go higher

 

I started to do this a few years back but with a VForce race muffler with dual outlets.

Ended up with duals..

It's not as low as the header..and was done with a Magnaflow muffler designed for the late model Camaro/Firebird with stainless 4 inch tips..

 

now that looks amazing. personally like this look much better than center exit, even if you had done it with the center exit diffuser. looks nicely balanced and really anchored at the wheels.... if that makes sense.

 

It doesnt sound terrible, but in my opinion looks terrible. I would lol if I saw it drive past me.

Gotta love a Zetec--injectors are louder than the exhaust.
Dude, if you like it, more power to you. It doesn't sound bad. You don't have any rasp, and that's hard to accomplish on a 4-cyl.
