Is there any word on how many allocated spots we may be getting? Or when registration opens?

whats up with an allocation. couldn't we register as many cars as we want, up to limit of run group?

 

Last I spoke with Tom, it looked like we could only get about 10 slots. Not good! I say run more cars per group or if they hold on this quota that those that attended last year get first shot, only cause I'd get one and I really need a track day.

 

I am rather confused on the question. Last year the whole thing was open to anyone who wanted to come. 4 run groups with 40 cars each. First come, first serve. Early registration resulted in the lower price of 225; later regestration was 250. (or whatever the pricing scheme was)

 

I think tom has been in contact with them, I also suggested that maybe some of the better drivers move up a group, so we get more spots. Tom did say if some one like Gary did move up and we wanted to have him run one or two sessions with us that would be ok, we would just need to arrange it a head of time.

Maybe we should help him out and start a head count of definite (only guys that will go even if we don’t get a discount)

Damn, if I had a big trailer and something to tow it with, I would sign up for two run groups and run both cars. Other plans are entering into that weekend, so I am a definite maybe.

I'm in (barring any work or car catastrophes), discount or no. FWIW, I'll probably sign up for whatever the 'intermediate' group is.
