First off, this is non-focus related. It's my '94 PLymouth Acclaim 3.0 V6 ATX.

Came back from my trip to Michigan(jetfest) and hop in my beater that has, until now, been flawless.

It's strats overheating, so I check to see if the fan is coming on.

Nope.

Is it coming on with the A/C?

Nope.

Hmmm.

What parts should I be looking to replace/checking into before I go buy a bunch of parts that don't work.

Ideas?

I dont have a wiring diagram for that car but I know on some older Acuras, both the condenser fan and idle fan take their main power off the same line.

If you can get a wiring diagram, it shouldnt be hard to figure out.

I'll see what I can do.

Tis a fan motor.

Argh.

I am going to be rigging up a FAL Fan for the Focus(single 12in) and wire it to a toggle switch.

Gonna be fun

fan motors(without the housing) are usually not too expensive(under $100), and you can do it yourself(takes only a matter of minutes).
good luck.
