Wait, there was a Fast and Furious 3?

Wow, I'm out of the loop apparently.
Yup Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift or something to that effect.Starred Lucas Black with Vin Diesel in a cameo appearance at the end.

If you really care about your one and only car, you don't want it in a movie... it'll get messed up. I'm a former motion picture set lighting technician; I see what really goes on. :what: :p ...but if you have several ricemobiles and/or something you don't care about then have at it.

Btw, I've never seen any of the F&F movies. I could tell that they have an Incredible Suck Factor, or, ISF, just from the previews that I couldn't get out of my seat fast enough not to see.

Now I know my good friend OmniFocus just loves the cheesy car movies... he delights in automotive cinematic imbecility whereas I just get the urge to shoot myself.

Is he still involved with those movies?
I don't know. I know he had his hand in all the cars for the first and second but not sure about the third.

Honestly, I can't wait to see the 4th. I hate to admit it, but I really liked all three. I would have to say the 1st was the worst. I really liked the second and third.

i like all you haters who think the movie is a god damn documentary and knock it for not being 100% accurate.

I agree man.

You just need to take the F&F movies with a grain of salt. They are what they are. The only thing I really hated in all of them, was the dudes accent in the third. It was just so bad. I wish he would have talked normal.

The first movie left a bad taste in my mouth because of what it was: some hollywood production designer putting his own artistic license into something he had no clue about.

I was heavily involved in the industry at that time, and even started working for Modern Image shortly after the movie hit (we sold a billion '(MI)' logos to people after that)... F&F1 was basically a joke with everyone they used for consulting. A lot of people gave a lot of input, and only 1% of it was actually really used.

And you can thank F&F1 for having a lot to do with glorifying street racing and causing the media (and lawmakers) to turn their attention towards the 'tuner crowd'. Wonder why you get profiled for having a loud exhaust, and then having the CHP officer audibly say 'oh' when he realizes it's a mid-30s woman driving the car? Or people being harassed for 'mods' on a stock Integra Type-R?

Yeah.
