After months of development and testing we are proud to introduce our Zetec Longblock and Shortblock program.

It seems that this market is advancing rather quick and people seem to be going through motors left and right.

Before we release all of the specs we would like to get some feedback from you, the customer, as to what you would like to see in a motor.

We are currently doing 3 longblocks with our stage 3 head package. These motors will be able to sustain power levels in the range of 450-500hp at the wheels. One of these will be a high compression race motor(our drag car) and the others will be high boost FI engines.

I would love to see a longblock with a cr around 11.4:1 (still streetable), an agressively ported head, and street/strip cam... basically something set up to rev and make power to 7k, while attaining 150lb-ft of streetable fwtq. It'd make for a hell of a daily driver/autox'er and for the strip a little juice would go a long way.

For a high-boost shortblock, I would like to see an 8.2:1 cr, strong rods, and bearings that can withstand 450 lb-ft fwtq. That would allow for a versatile engine like the 4g63 (7.8:1) that can withstand rediculous amouts of boost for the track, yet remain subtle at low boost for cruising.

If that n/a longblock comes out before I build one myself, mark me down. Pricing on that one, $2500 plus a your good longblock or, $4500 for the whole thing.

What is going to be your most streetable engine?? Not everyone here is looking for the peak power. Power really doesn't mean anything unless you got the torque to get you off the line.

So your saying that the stock focus block is capable of holding 400-500 hp to the wheels, without it cracking?? b/c that would be AMAZING since the power at the flywheel would be around 500-to-600....Even when building a 302 engine the breaking point on them is around 500 hp....It just seems hard to believe...

If you think that is amazing, just wait until you see a new Duratec 4 cylinder in action.. How does 1000+hp sound to you? On a stock block.....

(internals have all been upgraded, but the block is completely stock....)
