There is quite a few good twisty roads in that area around deals gap. You have the cherohola skyway - the blue ridge parkway - foothills parkway and all the roads through the smoky mountain park. If you go in march or before the weather can be a bit on the sketchy side.

I've been to that area several times in the last 10 years and the weather in may is decent...not real hot but there is normally a real good chance you're going to get rained on (not a big thing in a car but on a bike it's different story). Never been to the area in march or april so I can't say how the weather normally is during that time.

I would be interested in a focus on the dragon meet.

I could go. I think I'm pretty close to it, I've never been.

Do you guys think we could get a yearly east coast meet going on, sponsored by Focaljet? This would make a REALLY cool place to do it. Disrupter, since you have senority here, you think your could talk to focaljet1 about it? I guess we could try really hard this year to get lots of people, and, depending on the turnout, could be enough to show intrest on a big yearly east coast meet, like we've all been waiting for. That would be badass. Anyways, I got my weekends off, so count me in!

Rickter:

Killboy.com is the website of daryl cannon (aka killboy). He shoots pictures on the dragon normally every weekend....then there is his wife and a few other local guys that help him out.

Deal's Gap (the tail of the dragon) has 318 curves in 11 miles....how could you go wrong having a get together in that area.
