Working with NASA was great and I think they were impressed with the level of commitment behind the Focus.

The event was such a success that NASA has invited us to put together another one!

The Focaljet Track Attack 2 will be held August 5-6 at Willow Springs International Raceway in Rosamond, CA.

Because of the Success of the FJ Track Attack at Mid-Ohio we’re going to run another event in the West. This will allow West Coast Tuners that had built cars for the Shoot-out to run them here at the ‘Fastest track in the West’ Willow Springs.

It will be the same format as before using NASA’s HPDE and Time Trial Program, this will allow anyone to drive no matter what experience he or she has had.

Drivers and Focus enthusiasts can do the following.
1. Beginner Drivers can run in HPDE 1 and HPDE 2 with assigned Instructors.
2. Intermediate drivers can run in HPDE3
3. Advance drivers can run in HPDE4 and Time Trial Group
4. Racers can race in Performance Touring and Spec Focus Class
5. Spend time with other Focus enthusiasts
6. Door prizes, giveaways, food and drinks
7. Watch exciting NASA Racing Action
8. We will even have Drag Racing at LACR on Friday Night Fun.
9. Saturday Dinner/Drinks sponsored by Severns Racing

Also, bring a helmet! We will have ride-a-longs with NASA racers and instructors. That will be worth the price of admission alone!

You will need to read and fill out the following forms. They will need to be sent to FJ member "Ted7rns". If you have any questions your can post them here or PM him. He will be happy to help you out.

Perfect choice of track. It will be nice to share the road with some other fast Foci. We are ready and can't wait.

Yes it is..... :)

This same weekend, we will be hosting a Focus Challenge East event at Summit Point Raceway. This will be a great weekend for the Focus community, on a national level!

Would have been great if this was held on the Sunday after FOTB so those of us driving a long way to FOTB could attend both. :(
To be honest, that is one of the reason why we picked this date, to have it as close as possible to the FOTB date and close to the area.

NASA Spec Focus and Severns Racing will also be at FOTB.

I wish there was somthing here on the east coast. Mid-ohio is closer, but still a trek. Sebring? Road Atlanta? Any takers?

I'll be out there in my car and a friend in a 500hp+ M3 Racecar.

Normally it's around 95-100 there at that time of year. I wouldn't expect anymore blown engines as normal. If history repeats it's self.
