Let's cover some news as well

- McLaren has been fined $50,000 for using a new gearbox design prior to it being crash tested.
- The World Motor Council will consider new evidence in the Ferrari vs. McLaren case. The latter team still stands under the threat of disqualification from this year's championship and next year's as well.
- Michael Schumacher has been awarded Spain's top sporting honor. The Principe de Asturias Award.
- A short trip north, and Lewis Hamilton receives England's equivalent of schumacher's award.
- Honda is once again hopeful for a good performance at the Italian GP. In english, this means that they are maybe thinking about perhaps finishing a race for once.

However, I have been thinking on how to get more people to participate. Since we usually average about 10 people every season, one idea running through my head is to award one point for every time that you participate. That's about 18 points a year, which is a hefty amount if you think about it.

It's a catch 22 though, because I don't want people to be turned off by seeing others with lots of points halfway through the season and think: "there's no way I can catch up". I'm also thinking of ideas such as Thameth's - "Guess Hamilton's first win" where we can award some extra points and liven things up.

In the end though, I'm very happy with my own little experiment and having a semi "community inside a community" where we can talk F1 all the time. :banana: Stay tuned for the new thread coming up later in this week. I will have the updated scoreboard ready for the Belgium Waffles GP.
