Actually, since Focus is a trademark name, the plural form is Focuses, according to Ford documents. However, foci is an acceptible alternative.

 

there's much debate about this. Some say because focus is a proper noun, it should be focuses. Others like to just use the abbreviated foci (fo-kai) whereas others prefer the mathematical term foci (fo-sai). It's all up to you. I usually use fo-kai.

I say it like "Fo-Kee", but thats just when I dont feel like saying Focuses... it kinda makes you sound like snagglepuss if you say Focuses...

 

If you are going to call it "Foci" it is pronounced Fohs-eye, or Foh-keye.

But this only applies to a focus when it is from a lens or a point of reference. The Focus plurel is Focuses, like Egz said.

I really don't like to bastardize language, so I'm going to stick with what is correct. Focuses.
