any sound clips of this on a ZX3 5speed?

i currently have a automatic with borla and i love it, but i have a feeling it may be too loud for me once i swap over to manual

fyi-i've posted in the FocusSport area with no reply and one bump

Just wondering, why would it get louder if you swtich to a manual? Just because you are going to be adding more mods? You might want to check out the SVT Borla. It's the same as the regular Zetec Borla, but has a resonator on the first pipe that connects to the flange. It's pretty quiet. You might be able to just buy that piece and hook it all back together once you slot the holes on the SVT piece because the holes are too wide for the Zetec flange. I should be able to get a soundclip up soon of the SVT system on my 5spd Zetec.

Why's that? What about an auto keeps it quieter than a manual transmission? I don't get it. They're identical in everything else except for the transmissions? My car is very loud and it's an auto.

The way that they rev is different while going threw the motions, standards seem to rev more dramatically in sound, like they wind up into the rpms when under low load, autos just kinda keep a flat tone all the way up because the tranny shifts depending on your throttle, when a standard will wind to 6 grand even under partial throttle. Its hard to explain but the standards are def. louder.
