I have a good idea . I'd like to maybe suggest this as a sticky . And have it to be place for ppl to post:

- FI type, modifications, specifications
- Dyno charts
- Pictures or other useful media

If you don't have a dyno chart, please don't post in this thread.

And perhaps we can please avoid discussions in this thread and keep it as an information resource instead.

*** Because dyno numbers are always targetted, please respect the post. And if need be, challenge the information in a New thread, not this one.

ONLY MODS:

Prototype Intake Manifold, VCT Eliminator, cam gears, 65mm FC TB, GT28RS, One Off tubular Turbo manifold, Tom's intercooler & piping, 2.5" downpipe, 3" cat-back, ORP, Quaife, Fidanza, CM-4, one AWESOME tune by Tom..... thats all the main stuff

15psi on 93 octane




20-21psi on 93 octane




19psi on 93 octane



FYI my car has NEVER been tuned on anything other than 93 octane

Vortech supercharger (2.62" pulley)
PWR WTA Barrel Intercooler (4"x6")
Teel pump (3.8 gpm)
double heat exchangers (cool-it, in series)
trubendz 3" flex back with magnaflow muffler, and a 31" long magnaflow resonator (3" inlet outlet, but core is 2.5")
FC 65mm tb
pro-m 70mm mafs
FR 55lb / hour injectors
SCT Xcalibrator2 by Bristol dyno

Please be aware that the TQ and HP numbers are NOT on the same scale

2003 SVT Focus 245.8 HP / 193.4 lb/ft TQ
STOCK REV Limiter
Powerworks SVT kit
NO base engine or vehicle mods
NO custom tuning (stock powerworks tune on 91oct)
NO additional parts or hardware or tuning required
20k mi already on the vehicle after the kit was installed
Used for numerous demo drives shows and track events during the milage accumulation

Dyno # 03 in red is done at 11.5 psi, which has an okay tune. The car made 247fwhp.


Dyno # 14 in blue is done at about 26 psi of boost. The car made 361fwhp. All hp results were on 93 octane.

Anything above 26 psi did not net any good increase in hp since of possible misfire issue. I am hoping to resolve this strange issue, so I can run more boost and make more hp.

Car has port&polished head, stock camshafts, stock valve train, FR intake manifold, and other mods listed in my signature.

Disconnecting the exhaust only added a few hp. Dyno not show for that run, but here is a video clip of how it sounded like. video2

This is the comparison of the 2 intakes..Tom's in RED and Clints in BLUE... at the same amount of boost 19psi.... I must add the only other mod done to the SVT was a KenneBell Boost A Pump.

Notice the large increase in mid range power!!!!!

Just for fun I decided to up the boost just a little, this 23psi and STILL 93 octane... we also came to the conclusion that this was as far as the fuel system and 50# injectors were going to let us push it...... there was also minimal deto starting to show on the J&S... but thats what its there for.
