holy crap... i just went to www.fordaccessoriesstore.com, and it looks like it really is for the whole kit...

and fordparts.com has it listed for $104.50

also - the price is the same for a primed kit for the zx3 - the last three letters for that would be aac

 

Well, I went to the Ford Accessory catalog on the main site, and they were all cheap (well, except for my color, it was 700 something)

I just called my local ford dealer and the price I got was $162.45 Still cheap as hell. And I wonder what they'll get you for shipping if you order it off the website.

yes, it's a very subtle kit, but for the price, i think it's worth it.

Not quite. When I ordered my SVT front lip, they charged me an OVERSIZE fee. But the damn box was only 15" x 15" x 5" So I can bet that they will charge more than 10%

Thanks for the heads up! I ordered a ZX3/5 kit for my wife's ZX5 from fordparts.com. Total came to $114.95 with shipping but I'm sure as someone said above they'll be adding extra shipping charges on.

Got mine today, the box is rather large (expect a big freight hit if you're having them shipped), I don't think the FedEx lady was very impessed. The parts are covered in protective plastic and I don't want to take it off until they're installed, but they don't look like it'll be a major change, but well worth what they cost. Hopefully I'll be able to get them put on this weekend.

 

does the lip look any different from the SVT lip? besides the fact that it's painted.... what do they have for the rear?

Can anybody confirm the part # for a silver sedan? fordaccessoriesstore.com shows a part # 1M5Z 5420049 AAF but a parts guy at Ford that I've dealt with for over 10 years professionally & personally says its 1M5Z 5420049 AAG. I don't want to get the wrong thing. Anyone?

 

Good quetion, the parts computer shows that tha AAG is for a Silver Sedan like he says, but it still has the high price. The AAF doesn't say what it fits, but I just got one for my Silver Sedan and can verify that it is Silver in color. The Front lip is the same on all of them so we know that's right, the side skirts look to be correct (but the box they're in says 3/5 door). I haven't mounted them yet, but I held them up and they line up just fine. The rear also looks correct and the box is labeled 4 door Silver Frost. So I think the 1M5Z 5420049 AAF part number is correct, but isn't listed in the parts computer, have him check it in DOW or Does II. I'll be trying to get mine put on this weekend, but they may be sold out by then as they only list 6 kits available for silver sedans.

I got one of the silver kits for the ZX3 from my dealer yesterday. I just printed out the ting from fordaccessorystore.com and showed it to them since the part # didn't show up. They found it and ordered it, and I should have it in a week or two.
