> The purpose of this exhibit is not just to display Ford of Australia's vehicles, but also to thank the PT community with their technical support which significantly helped boost FoA's performance image by incorporate the 5.4L 3V and 4V into their Falcon powertrain lineup.

the new aussie falcons kick major boo-tay!! forget the pontiac GTO/Holden Monaro/out of date Cadillac Catera 2-door thing GM's doing. Ford needs to find a way to get this sedan to the USofA. Maybe as a Mercury? The 500 or Futura aint gonna cut it as far as performance goes. This is what they needs here.

5.4-liter DOHC 32V V8 making 290Kw of power and 520NwM of torque. I'm not smart enough to convert that to HP and lbs-ft so please someone help!!

Why???

Let me explain.....

1) It's fast, so people would actually want it, Ford doesn't sell what people want, they sell what their bean counters tell them to ( Soccer Moms. )
2) It's not oversized, dangerous, 4 wheel drive or able to carry up to 7 screaming kids, it's not called "Explorer" or "Expedition" either.

3) It would kick GM's ass in terms of the GTO, Ford has no interest in stomping GM, they just want to equal them.

Of course these are my thoughts, but they are all based on Ford's recent history, or at least my view of it.
