I suspect that my fuel pump is going out on my 01 street edition...the car stumbles quite a bit and has stalled a couple times, also has hard starting issues. How much is a new pump? Should I go stock? Is there a better aftermarket unit out there? How involved is the installation?

198.56 for a stock pump from parts.com. replacement isnt that bad. what you might do before replacment is to remove the pump and clean the 2 filters around it. the sock and dic filters. many times debris from tank shed clogs the disc filter (or both) and restricts fuel induction.
