Now that there is some better suspension choices for the 06-07 focus I got some choices to make. I want the Tokico Spec-D adjustables, my wallet wants the Ford Racing Performance Damper Kit for '06-07 Ford Focus. Has anyone used the Ford Racing Performance Damper Kit ? Is it alot stiffer than stock? Is it too stiff for comfortable street driving? is it good enough for autoslalom/ Track days? I have the Eibach pro springs on the stock stuts now and I need better struts/shocks.

I have the Ford Racing Kit. I would go with the Tokico dampers with Pro Kit Springs.

The kit is too soft for me. When you hit large bumps it bottoms out. I believe it is the dampers that are the problem, but I am not really sure. To me the dampers look like a OEM piece.

On the street it rides just like a stock car, but gives you a lowered look so that is a plus. I think I will change mine out next year and go with the H&R Cup Kit

Is this not the same as the dynamic kit?

I'm also going to be adding the new FRPP rear sway bar and in talking with Steve at Tousley Ford, he said that it should make my car handle like on rails which is exactly what my suspension goal is. I'm going to be getting the kit in stages as $ becomes available, but installing everything together and I'll put up some pics once that happens.

It will be a big difference when you are done!

could just go massive omni adapter and pick up w/e the hell suspension you want! can be cheaper too, pick up all the parts off here or used w/ low miles. just an idea

You could use the Omni Adaptor, but it isn't cheap. I thought about using it but I didn't like the way it went together. There are a bunch more options now, then when I did my suspension. I guess I should have waited!
