Ahh, the fun of DIY work...

I've got a 2004 ZX3 PZEV, and I'm replacing both LCA's with parts from BAT. The BAT LCA's have the bushings already pressed in, but the forward bushing on the BAT arm has a smaller bore (and smaller diameter bolt) than the factory ones that just came off the car. So, if I use the BAT-supplied bolt, it's got a good 2-3mm play in the bore of mounting holes on the subframe (but is the right size for the new bushings). So:

- Should I get the metal sleeve of the new bushing bored out to fit the stock bolt size (replacements are on the way from the ford dealer, 'cause I'm not keen on re-using this hardware),

- OR leave everything as is, and 'deal' with 2-3mm play in the bore of the holes in the subframe?

I can't imagine that the latter is really a good idea, but I'm no engineer.

Anyone?

...or you can use the 2-3 extra mm as a crash-bolt effect, and get a little extra negative camber out of the deal.
