I have a 2010 Focus SE. When turning left and hitting a dip or a depression in the road, on occasion I'll hear a clunk from the passenger side front end. I replaced the end links on both sides (and the originals were SHOT, very loose) with good ones from Moog (whom I really trust). The resulting ride is noticeably smoother, but I still get a (much lighter) clunk from the passenger side under the same conditions as before. The car has about 78K on it.

Any ideas? Ball joint perhaps? The struts and springs both looked good.

I have noticed a similar sound (in varying degrees) in both my car (2010 SE) and my uncle's car (2006)
Could it be normal noise?

Another vote for the end link here. You may already know this but having a wrench on the end link side to hold it in place while tightening the nut gets it nice and tight. I did this when I tightened them the first time but forgot to use lock tight....one came a little loose over time. Not a whole lot but enough to make a noise.
