Looking for an exhaust for my gf's Focus. I installed their cold air intake, which is amazing, but she wants a bit more sound.... something deep but not too obtrusive when crusing.

There are alot of threads on here with that topic. but if you are just looking for a nice tone. go with the stealth. Fswerks does have sound clips on there site. check them out.
fswerks (formerly focussport) website has sound clips comparing the different exhausts on a new body style focus. Might be a good point of reference.
I could be wrong but I believe that the sport and the race are the same thing except sport was the name for their 2.25" exhaust and on the 2.5" it is known as race. Also it depends on where you live. Up north it is a good idea to go stainless for durability in the salt.
If the sport is the same as the race just 2.25", definitely go stealth. The 2,5" race is definitely deeper, but it's loud as **** too- obnoxiously so. If you end up buying the sport or the race, definitely put a resonator in before even installed it. (I used an 18" vibrant straight through resonator, sounds much better now).
The stealth and race are 2.5" so both will be give a deeper sound than a 2.25". Like the others said, the 'sport' looks like the loud version of the old 2.25" system. There used to be a 'stealth' version of the 2.25" as well, but it seems to be discontinued.
I also agree with going with one of the 2.5" systems due to the use of stainless steel. The 2.25" FSWerks exhausts are not offered in stainless.
go with the race mann my friend has it and it has that low rumble even at idle and its not that obnoxious and she'll get the power and sound she wants plus its cheaper cuz it has teh straight pipe and doesnt have the sound resoinator which depresses the sound in the stealth one
I'll tell you right now, when I had the race exhaust with no resonator on my car (just the FSW muffler), you could hear the car 4 miles away. Literally, FOUR miles...at half throttle. Personally, I don't want a cop to be able to hear me from 4 miles away when I'm driving the car at night. After a few days you won't be able to get on it without being scared every time.
I have the 2.5" Race exhaust on my 2.3 right now...I'm not sure if I can be heard from 4 miles away, but yea it's a lil loud, but IMO not obnoxiously loud. When accelerating it has a nice deep and loud sound, but when cruising it quiets down a lot. I've been meaning to post up a video...
take my advice if you are going to be doing any freeway travel for a decent amount of time go stealth. Race exhausts will drone like crazy on the freeway especially if it is an automatic trans.
The race didn't drone as much as I thought it would...but once I put my resonator on I realized how even a little drone is annoying. Trust me- Vibrant resonators are the way to go. They'll quiet it down a little, make it much deeper, and eliminate the drone (and raspiness of a header). Thats probably why mine was so obnoxious, if you have an aftermarket header it's about twice as loud as with a stock header.
The Stealth was designed for cars running an aftermarket header. The Race is better suited for people running with the stock catalyetic converter.
Thanks,
Vik
