Hey guys first time changing the injectors in the car to something larger and I'm wondering about those metal clips that hold the injectors to the rail. Do u need those? I have the 36lb injectors front the power works kit and I can't get the clips to go on the injectors. The stock ones have a few different slits for the clips to slide into but the 36lb ones do not. If I just put them in the rail and use the bolts to hold the rail to the manifold will that cause any problems?

Any info will be great thanks guys

I'm sure that 40 (or 50) PSI won't bend the metal of the braces that hold the rail on, so probably don't really need the clips... however, if it was my rail and injectors, I'd be calling around (Steve, one of the techs at FSW or Top Speed, and/or whomever I bought them from) trying to see if there is a different clip that would work or a different rail with deeper sockets (or something), because I'd be nervous without the clips. After you've exhausted all the options, you'll probably be okay without them, just use "high temp loctite" on the hold-down bolts (my nervousness again) and torque them properly.
