Hey guys. I spend most of my time at focusfanatics but since we are all focus drivers I figured I'd take the time to share this with you. It took me almost a full year to get this bumper and I have to say, it was totally worth it. I don't know if anyone else has this yet, I may be the only person with it for, God knows how many states. I won't lie, that feels pretty darn good. :) lol. It's a first for me. So anyway, I wasn't sure if any of you guys have seen it yet or if anyone else had it so I decided I'd show ya. You'll have to forgive me for it only being a link to the thread over there, I don't have a whole lot of time, but it should give you the idea. It's still a work in progress, but in a few weeks it should all be taken care of. Enjoy. :) SPACE

Well, that's surely an interesting aftermarket bumper :dunno:

I'm gonna be blunt.

It doesn't flow at all with the car. On top of that it looks like a REALLY low grade bumper. The fitment is god awful, trust me some bondo and sanding is NOT going to fix fitment issues like that......

Yea, I love it. I can see it in my mind, just gonna take a little while more. I found a guy who can fix it all up so I'm worried about it. I was thinking about the spoiler. I think that I might get it next because it would hold the design together as a whole better than if I got skirts or the rear bumper next. Kinda draw the eye away from the stuff that hasn't been done yet, make people see it differently. I was thinking about getting the SAP. There are a lot of aspects of the SAP I like, spoiler is one of them, maybe the rear too. Don't know about skirts, does it have any? Honestly, the bumper is already just about level with the car as is so I'm not sure skirts would work. Well, I'm gonna put that off for a bit till the front is done.

So I may just be missing it since I'm not in the FF crowd, but what was all the hype about this bumper? Is this like the '05+ ProDTM bumper in that it's been available on eBay and wherever else for awhile but no one had ever seen a real one before?

Ok, so the back story basically is that a little over a year ago I ordered this bumper from Ground Dynamics and when I got it it was way too big. Turns out they made it for the european model by mistake when they made the mold. It was originally a bumper for the euro model. So I sent it back, lost some money on shipping, and was pretty pissed and upset. Everyone told me I should just give up on it but I really wanted that bumper, so I kept calling, and calling, and checking. I really wanted that style for my car, not the typical stuff. Vis said they were working on it, and finally one day they said it was ready. I got it, and while it doesn't fit perfectly, most of it is right and it should all flush out fine.

def. do what you want to your car, i think that'll look sweet when it's done. I commend your sticking to this idea regardless of all the time/money it's taken. Very commendable sir

not feeling it at all.
