And after some research....

Note: It is recommended that for every 50hp increase over stock power that the spark plugs be one heat range colder.
And some disscions (sp) with some friendly monkeys

I am not at a spot were i need your assistance. I am trying to get one range colder plug for my motor. My problem is no one can give me a good answer as to what the number is. I have found the stock autolite number for my '03 to be AAP5144. Now according to the autolite book at the parts store, i need a AAP5143. But there is no listing for that plug. Does anyone have a good number for the spark plugs, one range colder??? Thank you for all the help.

I had my parts guy check for a 5145, or 5146, thinking that the 5144 was the coldest range, but he didn't have a listing for either.

Check out NGK's site. They will give you a plug one step colder. Might have to send an e-mail to ask though. Otherwise if the parts guys can't tell you it's gonna be hard to find out because there is no reference guides for them for colder plugs.
