Has any body cut apart the stock exhaust and installed both a glasspack header muffler and a glasspack muffler.

Yes, we have had this for more than 2 years. Stock exhaust tubing into a glasspack(replaced 1st muffler) with the rear resonator removed and replaced with 2 1/4in pipe

Loud as hell, but sounds great!

Header muffler?

If you like loud noise, that go for it. I did it once, and... WOW loud as hell.

Okay, I don't quite want loud as hell, so how about if I leave the first muffler on and just replace the rear resonator. I had a guy at Meinecke mufflers tell me this would be a waste of money because the first muffler is to restrictive?

I can't speak for what a glass pack sounds like on a Focus. My I have 2 friends at school who has a glass pack on their Honda's and it sounds good. My friend Ryan has just a intake a a glasspack welded to a tip that sounds very nice.

Okay, I get the point it's going to be loud, so the hell with it, I'll just wait awhile and get a catback.
