I wanna get light performance rims. Know of any? I heard Advans from someone before...

I don't know about how much they weigh, but today I was in discount tire and I picked up a 17" Konig Toxxin, with a parada on it and it seemed really light. It was suprisingly a really nice looking rim too.

I heard that Kosei racing wheels (I think Tire Rack sells them) are pretty darn light. But I don't think they offer it for the Focus tho ...

i like the super leggarras too. i believe the konig toxxins weigh about 18 lbs but have heard that their wheels are not all that strong and bend easily. i am also fairly interested in the team dynamiocs motorsports, does anyone know how much these weigh?

anyone hear how light the ASA rims are?

If you want light 18's go with Team Dynamic, reason why because they are lighter than the average 18" rim plus they probably can fit a majority of our budgets. There are some others like the ones tire rack offers but can't see paying damn near $300 dollars for one rim (not

at all). Any one notice
the lighter the rim the more it cost.

The Toxxins are lite at 17.8 for an 18x7.5.
But, I'd beware as they're cast. I think that's how they keep the price down. Hit a bump, destroy the rim. Go for the best quality rim you can afford and that also suits your geographic location. For us in SoCal more rim cushion is better. I've seen dealer lots with 225/45/16's and they look great.. And they fill the wheel well. I'd replace the dampers too to maintain that cushy ride and better control.

The RacingHart's are REALLY cool, but would last like, 20 minutes on Michigan roads!!!
Gotta consider strength / weight ration in these parts. All you guys in SoCal and Fla. have it EASY when it comes to rolling stock!!
Ask the guys who run 40 series tires in places like Michigan and PA!!!

you're so right. Michigan roads suck. big highways in michigan have holes bigger than my focus. are the superleggeras strong? should be, since they're OZ. well, if anyone knows, tell me.

Are the Racing Hart 035's available for the Focus, i.e. 4x108 and about 45 offset? I love those wheels, though as you guys already said, Detroit roads will eat them alive. But they'd be nice track wheels.
