I heard that there is a speed limiter on our cars...it limits it to 108 I believe...is this true? And if it is, how do you get rid of it? Is it a chip? Could I buy a racing chip that gets rid of it and gets my redline higher than whatever it is?

No chip available. But there is SCT tuning which can get rid of the speed limiter and rev limiter if you so desire.

I am waiting for XCalibrator 2 to come out for the Duratec.
It came out months ago.

Edit: Wait, you mean the 2.0, don't you? Nevermind.

I think the ST does go a bit past 108..

Pzev should know.

On the D20 I believe it's actually a bit less then 108, the speedo is a little off.

You reflash the ECU with the Xcal2...no need for a chip.

If it was doing 124, it wasn't stock. ALL Foci come with a speed limiter. Most cars built since 1995 come with one, and it's usually under 110.

I think you meant, most American cars come with one.. If you even consider most of those things cars.

Imports will usually go a bit past that in stock form.
