the bypass valve would have did me some help tonight... car cut off thanks to a big big big puddle. anyone else run into this problem?

Damn that sucks. When will people learn not to trust those things and buy an Iceman...

Kind of had that problem, but it ended with a thrown rod through the block.

man that sux...hope you get it all fixed...

I had the aem as well and had the bypass valve abd splash shield. I never had any problems as mentioned above. I swithed to the Injen Race Division CAI and the filter seems a lil higher and I'm still using the splash shield...but no bypass..

i had that happen, long story short, new engine at 42k.

but a nice learning experience
