Just a note....
This isn't "IM". This is a Forum.
There is an EDIT Button. No need to make another post to correct spelling..... Just fix the post you've already made.

I think there's plenty of travel in the stock suspension and if you want a real rally look, there's other "show" things to do. Look at the old WRC hood vents.

If I were going to do some low budget Foci Rallying, I would do stock springs on some adjustable dampers.

Hotbits raises it up like 2"s... there ya go.

Dunno, I admire the against the grain'ness of a lift ... so long as there aren't 26" wheels under the car. But for a purely ascetic mod I find it very pointless. The part that really seems odd to me is that no one gave me this much flack when I mentioned I wanted to put Yokohama Geolander tires on my focus, figured a 'fun' M+S tire would be decent in winter, talked to a few people who've run them in winter and they said they where ****. I think it'd of looked pretty mean, for a few days.

As a Rally Spec Focus builder I can definitely see why someone would "lift" their Focus. In fact, I have a set of HotBits on order which should raise the car by about 2" as Darty pointed out.

I seems that most everyone here are street tuners. But there is a decent contingency of people here who realize the rally prowess of the Focus. That being said, it is not a good idea to "lift" the Focus for looks. Get a set of spoked wheels and paint them white, add a WRC fin, or wicked big mud flaps if it's just about looks.

Thanks for the link on bodykits G-forces.

As for that eBay Focus/Toyota truck half-breed... nice , and at the same time a great big resounding NO! :thumbdown
